Parking Lot Takeover Turns Deadly In Houston TX

HPD and HFD responded to reports of a shooting
An HCSO District 5 deputy was flagged down in the parking lot and heard gunfire
The deputy located a male in his 20’s with a gunshot wound to the back
the deputy then located a male and female in front of the business, behind 2 cars from an active parking lot takeover
HFD arrived and pronounced the male and female deceased at scene
the male with a gunshot wound to the back was transported to a nearby trauma center and is expected to survive
Per Lt Horelica, the deceased female was with her new boyfriend, when her ex boyfriend showed up
The ex boyfriend produced a firearm and shot the woman multiple times
The ex then chased the new boyfriend down and shot him once in the back
The ex returned and shot the woman multiple times again, before turning the gun on himself
The current boyfriend’s car is in the video, and was taking part in the parking lot takeover
