How to install an oil temperature/pressure gauge on GR86/BRZ (or actually any car)? Does this $60 gauge kit work? Let's find out.
I already have AEM oil pressure gauge installed on my car and this time I'm installing an external oil temperature gauge. The installation process for them are basically the same. Despite GR86 already having an oil temperature readout on the dashboard (in track mode), the external gauge can still be used to measure oil temperatures at other locations (e.g. I can measure the oil temp before the oil cooler to find out how well the oil cooler works)
The GlowShift kit is much cheaper than the AEM kit but still works well! The installation is straightforward. Enjoy!
