My name is Alexa Borota I am a high school English teacher; I also taught middle school English Language Arts. Additionally, I am a mom, grad student, and try my best to live a healthy and active lifestyle. I like to share teaching tips and best practices for teaching, work/life balance, organization, and self-confidence.

In this vlog, I discuss three of my teaching routines:
1. On Monday's, I always begin class with independent work; I discuss the benefits.
2. Friday's are for makeup work, one-on-one support, and relationship building.
3. I use a Google Sheet to log everything; I discuss how I do this and how it saves me time and energy.
