A low cost, and low risk of damaging the connecting rod, method of removing a press it wrist pin from a Chevy small block 350 piston assembly. I use a 12 ton hydraulic press with a $9 heat gun and a home made fixture. This is not the fastest way to remove the pins, but if you are only doing this for one engine, it works great. If you have a business where you do this all of the time, then I would buy the proper tools, fixtures, and equipment to perform this task.
