Remake It! Lucario's Smash Moveset

This is Remake It! Where we take another look at characters in Smash Bros. whose fighter designs have aged poorly, wandered too far out-of-character, or could otherwise benefit from a revisit, then theorycraft what a reworked and improved version of their moveset, playstyle, and other details might look like!

Up this time is someone with a disappointing legacy in Smash. Despite being one of the single most popular Pokémon, Lucario has been one of the least played characters in Ultimate's entire run (and wasn't very common in Smash 4 either). A likely culprit for the lack of interest in such a fan favorite? A moveset so reliant on a gimmick--one that harms as often as it helps--that it weakens the overall design and makes the character less fun to play.

But what if we could do something about that? The right changes to Lucario's moveset, stats, and underlying aura mechanic could fix the problems and make for a more solid foundation more players would want to try out! How could that be pulled off when Smash 6 rolls around? Watch and find out.
