The TYPO3 REST API "nnrestapi" allows you to connect your frontend application written in JavaScript, VueJS, React, Angular or other technologies with the TYPO3 backend.
The TYPO3 RESTful API comes equipped with everything you need to get started: You can route to your endpoints using annotations. It has built-in user authentication using Cookies, JSON Web Tokens (JWT) or HTTP Basic AUTH. It can hande Fileuploads and FAL conversion. A testbed and automatic documentation of your API helps you speed up your development. And the backend module comes with a "Kickstarter" to get your RESTful API up and running in minutes.
You can find the extension in the TYPO3 Extension Repository (TER) - it currently supports TYPO3 versions 9 – 11.
