MISSOURI TO SOUTH DAKOTA: Epic VAN life Road Trip | Boondocking and Hidden Gems in MO/IA/NE

Join us on another incredible leg of our USA road trip as we explore Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota in our van, Walter! This vlog is packed with hiking, free camping, a first-ever baseball game, and following the historic Lewis and Clark trail.

Our adventure kicks off with a beautiful hike at Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area in Missouri, exploring the overlook and a creek feeding into the Missouri River. We're getting those walking boots on and trying to regain our stamina after weeks on the road! You'll also see some interesting turkey vultures and learn about quirky US school bus stops!

Later, we pick up the famous Katy Trail, hoping to hire bikes and explore the longest rails-to-trails conversion in the US. We even find a perfect wild camp spot right on the trail! We continue to loosely follow the historic Lewis and Clark Expedition Trail, tracing the footsteps of these legendary explorers from Camp Dubois past Jefferson City and beyond. Experience the charm of small-town USA with a fantastic free park-up in Gallatin, Missouri, complete with polishing Walter, a lovely swing seat, and meeting fellow RVers with free water and electricity! We even manage to charge our EcoFlow with a step-up transformer to handle that US 110V power.

Get ready for some classic American experiences! We attend our first-ever baseball game, enjoy our first barbecue of the year in Iowa (with plenty of ranch dressing!), and find some amazing free camp spots, including one by a picturesque lake in Iowa and another near the Missouri River on the Nebraska/South Dakota border.
