Sometimes, when you get excellent advice but it does not jibe with your heart or with your timing, you need to show personal leadership and put that advice to the side and honour your own being. As a psychotherapist, I often give feedback or insight, not often advice but sometimes I will offer some advice and give my clients some sort of homework for them to work on after the session. It's very important to allow the person to be the leader of their own timing. The most excellent advice or feedback can absolutely be the wrong piece of information if it is not aligned with the person's heart and timing. Honour your inner wisdom, and if you're giving someone some feedback make sure that you honour who you're speaking with. Allow people to be their own best wise leaders.
