How to Make Healthy Banana Bread! Here's an easy recipe for a healthy banana bread that is low calorie and low fat.
Ingredients:
3 RIPE Bananas
⅔ Cup of Sugar
2 Eggs, Separated
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Salt
Directions:
1). Mash the bananas with half the sugar (1/3 Cup) until it's as smooth as you can get it
2). Separate the egg yolks from the whites and mix in the yolks to the banana mixture
3). In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites while gradually adding the rest of the sugar incrementally until you get soft peaks
4). In another bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir to evenly distribute
5). Add the dry ingredients to the bananas and fold to incorporate
6). Add 1/3 of the whipped egg whites and gently combine it with the batter
7). Add the rest of the egg white to the batter and gently fold them until no streaks of egg white are visible
8). Bake @350F in a greased loaf tin for 45 - 60 mins, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
