STORYLINE: When the legendary Radio City Music Hall Chief organist Dick Leibert retired, his coveted position at the WurliTzer was awarded to his assistant Ray Bohr. Little is known about Ray and his formative years of pipe organ interest in Nyack, New Jersey. With the help of close friends and his family members, this video, three months in the compilation, tells the full story of this famous and sadly missed organ world personality. I hope you enjoy the musical journey with some never before heard recordings: revealing facts and private family photos. Since it was first uploaded on May 22nd 2013, the unidentified organ shown at 5'07" has now been confirmed as being the one referred to in the accompanying text: ie: the original instrument installed by M.A.Clark in Grace Episcopal Church.
