I remember wonderful times as a child exploring the creek that ran through the valley at St. Petes Abby in Meunster, Saskatchewan. As a child, my brother and I used to bike down there all the time with our nets and collect tadpoles and other little things. I went back on a pilgrimage several years ago to the home of my childhood to see what I could recognize and I was shocked to see how much things have changed over time. What once seemed so big, like the hill we used to slide and bike down, now seems pretty minor. That's what growing up does, I guess - you lose the viewpoint of so many of your experiences.
