I created this watercolor and gouache art journal (a small sketchbook) dedicated for color mixing. I had attended class on Skillshare from Marie-Noëlle Wurm. It is a class about color mixing and creating amazing new variations of colors from a limited colors palette. Ti complete the class assignments I created this beautiful mini art journal sketchbook from Arches cold pressed watercolors paper. It is fun to learn color mixing and to create all wonderful colors is such a treat. Watercolors and gouache are one of my favorite art mediums. Hence, I choose those for mixing. Here limited palette of 6 colors is used along with basic white and blacks. Color mixing helps in art study because we will require basic color understanding for better art practice.
Watercolors are from Daniel Smith basic color palette of 6 colors
Gouache colors are Winsor and Newton Designer Gouache Color Palette
