Tune in for live white-light views of the solar disk, captured using a Thousand Oaks white-light filter. While it doesn’t show solar flares or prominences like hydrogen-alpha scopes, you’ll still catch incredible detail in sunspots—regions of intense magnetic activity on the Sun’s surface.

🌟 Current Solar Cycle:
We’re deep into Solar Cycle 25, and it’s been much more active than expected. Large sunspot regions and flares continue to make this one of the most exciting cycles in recent years.

🌤️ Late Start Notice:
Today’s stream started a little later than usual—but there’s still plenty of time to relax and watch the Sun as it tracks across the sky. The view will get even better as it climbs higher.
