This little march (very rare) is characteristic of the climate of patriotic fervor that took over Brazil after the sinking of merchant ships off our coast. It is interesting to note that the first compositions that followed the declaration of war on Germany preach, for the most part, unity around the Estado Novo and Getúlio Vargas. Later songs will take some distance from Getúlio, placing more emphasis on the fight.
