Crochet GRANNY SQUARE Christmas TREE tree ornement

In this video tutorial I will show you how to crochet a granny square and how to fold and sew it to make a crochet Chrismas tree ornament. It is an easy crochet project. The size can be adjusted depending on the yarn you are using.

The goal was to make a granny square that is about 10cm x 10cm and it took me in 5 rows. And that was the perfect size of an ornament for me. You can make more or less rows. You can also use a 0.75mm crochet hook and make micro crochet granny suare and then make earings or a pendant from the granny square tree.

The US crochet stitch terms used in this pattern are:
◾ slip knot ◾ ch – chain stitch
◾ sl st – slip stitch ◾ sc – single crochet stitch
◾ inc – increase stitch (2sc in 1) ◾ dec – decrease stitch (sc tog 2)
◾ dc – double crochet stitch
