In this episode of BBNZ, we went in a completely different direction from our usual serious ranked tournaments and kicked off our first-ever Beys & Pizza event.
These B&P events are all about fun, community, and good vibes - no pressure, no rankings, and yes, everyone gets pizza. Each one will have a different theme, and for our first B&P, we went with Team Battles.
We followed the official Takara Tomy rules and ran a full day of team battles for the first time. It was the perfect way to test how this format would go down with the wider community - especially as we gear up for our next big stage event at Retro, in front of thousands of people.
And who knows… the next Beys & Pizza could be Squid Games themed 👀
