Mimpi Resort Menjangan & Dive shop was better than expected, having great service, high selection of meals including quality Balinese food and beautiful grounds. We enjoyed the hot springs, the spa and the monkeys in the trees.
We were really impressed with the beautiful reep systems around Menjangan Island. It was loaded with fish both small and large. Nearby Pemuteran Jetty was great for muck diving, lots of critters.
One thing to consider is the drive from Denpasar Airport to the resort is lengthy due to heavy truck traffic with deliveries coming from Java. But once in the area Northwestern Bali is very calm & peaceful.
