The Nets miss a golden opportunity to wrap up their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Pistons in game number 6 in front of their home crowd. After having led by as many as 11 points early on following another fast start, not only were they unable to hold onto the lead for too long but also would fall behind big, trailing by 17 early in the 3rd quarter, & even though they wouldn't just go away and chopped off most of the deficit to still make it a game, their rally ended up coming short as they couldn't get over the hump on the several occasions they made it a 1-possesion game.
