The Seattle, Washington native has recorded 15 albums, his latest Imani Records release "Screen Time", was co-produced by the label's founder, Orrin Evans.
Thomas is the youngest inductee in the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame and spent 20 seasons as a soloist with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra. He founded the Seattle Jazz Fellowship, a non-profit arts organization that provides the city with jazz music and education in Seattle.
