⚽ At New Vision Soccer Academy, we don’t teach speed — we teach the ability to change your mind.

In this clip, Amelia faces a 1v1 battle that goes a little long. Most coaches would’ve stopped the drill early or demanded she try to explode sooner than she was ready.

Instead, we let it play out — because every second gave her a chance to adjust, reset, and make another decision.

By the end of the rep, she’d changed her mind 10–12 times before finally picking the perfect moment to attack.

That’s what true development looks like — not chaos, not speed for the sake of speed, but teaching players to think in the gap, control tempo, and make decisions with purpose.
