Klein Matterhorn day trip from Zermatt: Cable car ride, Alpine hike and more

One of the highlights of my visit in Zermatt was certainly the Klein Matterhorn, or better known as Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. In this video of my day trip to Klein Matterhorn, I will be showing you the breathtaking beauty of Klein Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland, the unforgettable experience of the cable car going up to the Klein Matterhorn, the ice sculptures at the Glacier Palace, and a hike back down to Zermatt from Furi.
Situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Klein Matterhorn stands as a majestic symbol of Zermatt's natural beauty. Offering jaw dropping panoramic views, this iconic peak is a must-visit destination for mountain enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Ascending to the summit with the convenient Klein Matterhorn cable car is certainly an unforgettable journey. The Klein Matterhorn cable car is a gateway to the skies, offering a marvelous changing of landscapes as you ascend and being surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Alps. It is also an ideal opportunity to capture a perfect snapshot of the breathtaking scenery [especially of the Matterhorn] as you make your way to the top.
Another attraction on the Klein Matterhorn is to visit the Glacier Palace. The Glacier Palace is an unique attraction located 15 meters down below into the glacier. The Glacier Palace is an ice cave carved into the hear of the glacier beneath the Klein Matterhorn summit. We explored a network of tunnels with very smooth ice walls, each leading to caves with magnificent ice sculptures.
Descending from Klein Matterhorn, we stopped at Trockener Steg, and from here we had a perfect view of the Matterhorn and a perfect view of the Zermatt village.
But our adventure didn't stop here. Descending from Trockener Steg, we stopped at Furi, and hiked back to Zermatt. We hiked through scenic trails, winding through the alpine meadows and through a small village called Zmutt. This thrilling trail offers a glimpse into the untouched wilderness of the Swiss Alps, with the Matterhorn towering in the distance.
