Driving my Mazda RX-8 R3 MY2009 at Brands Hatch Indy circuit with Mazda RX8OC UK and MOT (Mazda On Track). Was very cold, wet and smattering of snow at times. I was on Road Tyres (Bridgestone Sport) on stock 19" rims. I seemed to make far better times than those on track oriented tyres, including mny drivers I consider much better track skills than I.
No! I had NOT discovered the "wet line" that everybody else was taking (I wondered why they were all 'offline' 🫨🤦)
I managed my best time - 1:08 (RaceChrono Pro said it was 1:07.95 😉), and averaging a lot better thank the 1.12 averages reported by those on track oriented tyres.
New Pettit / Milltek Cat back fitted.
