Leaving Nessebar behind, we follow Route 9 south toward the Turkish border.
The road takes us through small villages and dense green forests — in some places the vegetation grows so close it almost touches our handlebars.
As we get closer to the border, the atmosphere changes — traffic builds up, and the last stretch feels wild and remote.
When we finally arrive at the border crossing, chaos awaits. Long lines of cars and trucks stretch as far as we can see, and it looks like it might take hours to get through.
But then, out of nowhere, a Turkish motorcyclist appears — a true angel, not just because of the patches on his vest.
With respect and confidence, he guides us past the endless line of vehicles and straight through customs.
What could have been a long, exhausting wait turns into one of the most heartwarming moments of the trip.
The spirit of brotherhood on two wheels — that’s what adventure is all about.
