Environment and Project Setup — Module 1-3 — Building a WordPress Classic Theme with Pinegrow

Setting up your project and your build environment is a critical step to the process. Learn how to install a local copy of WordPress, how to import dummy data so we can see what we are doing, and how to configure your WordPress theme project inside Pinegrow.

📓 Note: As of Pinegrow 7.93, you no longer need to manually create the theme folder. You can also now use WordPress Live Preview inside Pinegrow, which I demonstrate in another video:    • Introducing Pinegrow Live Preview  .
