I Made a Big Mistake Uploading to YouTube — Here’s What Every Creator Can Learn From It

Welcome back to my YouTube channel! 🎉 We’re starting this week’s video on my last day in Mexico City before heading back to NYC. I wish I could say it was a smooth re-entry—but the mix of no sleep, changing temps, and allergies had me feeling under the weather. Still, I pushed through and managed to get it done... just a little slower than usual.

After last week’s YouTube experience (with the glitches, long download/export times, and delays uploading), I realized I needed a new approach. So for this video, I’m giving myself a bit of a buffer. It means a slight lag between when things happen and when they go live—but it also means I can catch mistakes, pace myself, and show up better. Sometimes the best solution is just giving yourself a little grace—and remembering it’s okay to put the camera down too.

That said, there were still some amazing highlights this week. I attended the Aisling Camps Collection Launch Dinner and loved seeing how much she continues to grow as a designer—truly looking forward to what she has coming next. I also previewed Another Tomorrow’s FW25 Collection, and I was so impressed. Some of my favorite pieces included the white square-neck slip dress and the button-ups—the fabric felt like it wouldn’t need much ironing or steaming, yet the detailing was so well thought-out. And finally, I stopped by BA&SH Press Day where I caught up with my good friend and colleague, Terry—a quick but lovely moment before diving into the collection preview.

So yes—this week was a mix of pushing through, learning from missteps, and appreciating the magic in between. Thank you for continuing to grow with me. 💛
