Riding his Zonik Plus, the Belgian rider won the gold medal in the Grand Prix Special at the European Championships in Crozet. The pair scored 82.371%, a new personal best, putting them ahead of Cathrine Dufour and Mount St John Freestyle, who scored 81.687%. Isabell Werth secured bronze with Wendy de Fontaine, scoring 79.027%.
