PARANOIA || Jinx

So I started this vid as a fun edit to post for Halloween and I ended up loving to edit it! I hope you enjoyed it. The lyrics are just fiting Jinx perfectly. The paranoia, the nightmares, the demons, even the ''venom'' in her veins. I really hope you enjoyed my version of this song cause I had a lot of fun making it. I think the part I loved editing the most is the part where Mylo's voice seems like it's saying ''Draw the blood'' followed by Jinx implying she had Cupcake's head under a plate (this whole part really [1:16] ). I really wanted to empathize Mylo being 100% part of the increasing paranoia of Jinx and seeing how worse her state got, we can mainly assume they'll suggest her dark things again that she'll end up listenning to in season 2. Also, in my latest tweet I just shared that when Jinx is stabbing her leg I realised the voice in her head says ''stab it'' just before she goes back at it and stabs herself more angrily while holding the pain in. That realisation made me sob so hard lol :   / darksidejinx  

I had so many takes in this video, but note that Vi being an abusive sibling is NOT one of them, quite the opposite, actually. What I wanted in this video was to reflect how Powder/Jinx's mind and especially her paranoia had gotten worse over the years and how she ended up misinterpreting nearly every action that was taken towards/against her, even if they were good. The more expectations she had, the more she was trying to fulfill them, and the more parnoid she became when she couldn't reach what was, for her, what she needed to ashieve for someone to love her - when those said person never asked anything of her in the first place. The song itself is really revealing and even if I don't suffer such high paranoia, it had happen to me before to have it strike me down along with panick attacks & anxiety, and most of the time they come in an instant and all at once. For that I love this song because of how detailed it is, regarding the pain and mental state of the person when a panick attack strikes. Even the rythm follows the growing rythm of a heartbeat like it's having a panick attack. I love songs that are made so precisely and with so much care & detail. Also, I advise you to have a look at the lyrics down below if you're not an english native speaker, you might understand better how detailed it is ! ;) Anyhow, this song was perfect for Jinx, and I just love it.
