A short burst of BBC getting into the Christmas mood from Thursday 20th December 1984.
We begin with those Snowpeople bouncing around under the festive tree and into some of the 'Galaxy of Stars' we can expect this Yuletide.
A static slide follows for Open Space over on BBC2
Then the classic mirror globe into the opening titles of a live edition of Top of the Pops.
As we leave Janice and Simon to bop away to Ray Parker Junior and those Ghostbusters we head into a 'comedy for Christmas' trail before the tape stops recording.
