Goose Valley (Gasadalur) - Probably the most beautiful cycling desitnation on the Faroe Islands

Gasadalur (the Goose Valley) is a hidden village located in one of the most is one of the most remote and beautiful valleys of Faroe Island. The road to get there is equally beautiful and stunning. The ride starts in the charming village of Sørvágur. From here you ride along a fjord with incredible views of Tindhólmur, a stunning islet with five peaks. In the background, you can enjoy the view of the island of Mykines. A tunnel is making the once inaccessible village of Gasadalur accessible. As you leave the dark tunnel you are welcomed by an incredible view of the ‘Goose Valley’ and a glimpse of the iconic Múlafossur Waterfall. After a descent, you have a small but steep ride up through the village. This ride is perfect for the beginner and anyone who wants to enjoy ten kilometers with ‘out of this world’ views.
