This will be the first video assembling the 2jz for my s30Z.
In this video I will cover:
Laying everything out by weight and assigning them as sets
Measuring piston ring gaps and filing accordingly
Installing the rings on the pistons
Assembling the connecting rods to pistons
Cleaning out the crankshaft and Measuring the oil clearance with plasti-gauge
Installing main studs
Torquing the crank
Installing conrods/pistons
Thanks for watching but take this information with a grain of salt. I am incorporating my own experience and research. Please make sure you are doing your own info gathering before undertaking engine rebuilding. Piston engines are pretty straight forward but tons of stuff can go wrong with taking short cuts!
