This is the second video in our Epic Tesla Model 3 Road Trip Across Europe 🇪🇺 series. Our M3 SR has clocked 7817 km or 4857 miles. 😳
Join us as we drive across Germany at night, reach one of the coolest 😎 Tesla Superchargers early in the morning 🌄 (Lindau), and cross into Austria, on our way to traverse the Swiss Alps towards Italy.
Driving at night 🌙 on the Autobahn was ok, way better than through the busy daytime traffic, but also a bit challenging because we left soon after work, with almost no extra rest to help us on the long drive.
The Autopilot is great in helping with this, though. The software has fallen way behind the newer versions of Tesla FDS, but it's still good in helping you out when you're tired, or at any time you want the car 🚗 to do the driving for you.
We charged three times in about 780 km (484 miles), slept for about 40 minutes at 04:00 AM, and got ourselves a delicious coffee ☕️ from the BK World Lounge at the Lindau Supercharger situated at the border triangle 🔺️ between Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
