Whitewalls, nicknamed the Milkhouse, was the second castle of House Butterwell. Its location on maps has not yet been published, but it was located in the Riverlands. The castle was built near the Gods Eye, with the Butterwell lands on the eastern shore of the lake. Whitewalls was closer to Maidenpool than to King's Landing. Costly to build, the castle's walls, keep, and towers were made of white stone quarried in the Vale of Arryn, and its floors and pillars were crafted from white marble veined with gold. The rafters were carved from the trunks of weirwoods. The pale castle was commonly called the "Milkhouse" by those who lived near it, for its color and for House Butterwell's income from dairy cows. This is the setting for the third Dunk and Egg Book "The Mystery Knight" and the location for the 2nd Blackfyre Rebellion.
This the newest vid in my Asoiaf Lore series. I'm making smaller deep dives into locations such as castles, forts, islands and other holdings from the A Song of Ice and Fire Lore, including Game of Thrones, Dunk and Egg, Fire and Blood, and House of the Dragon. The Goal of this series is to give a spotlight to locations from all over the asoiaf lore that are not the seats of the High lords and Kings of the Seven Kingdoms, but the smaller and lesser lords from all over Westeros and the rest of the known world.
This is all my opinion based on the A Song of Ice and Fire Lore, including Game of Thrones, Dunk and Egg, Fire and Blood, and House of the Dragon.
