HOW-TO INSTALL A FUEL LINE CONVERSION KIT - ROTTWEILER PERFORMANCE

In this slideshow version of the written instructions, we will show you how to install a Rottweiler Performance Fuel Line Conversion Kit on a KTM 790/890 Adventure. This is also applicable to the Norden 901 with slight differences.

The Rottweiler Performance Fuel Line Conversion Kit is race developed and inspired and fixes many of the weak and delicate points of disconnecting the fuel line and removing the fuel tank.

Much easier and safer fuel tank removal. The stock fuel line disconnects at the throttle body via a weak and problematic new style disconnect and travels out with the fuel tank, dragging on the frame and then getting possibly pinched when the fuel tank is reinstalled. It also feels like it is going to break the spigot on the throttle body every time the tank is removed due to minimal clearance to back it up because of the fuel tank being so close. In addition, the small and delicate green locking tabs have been known to fall out, getting lost in the abyss of the top of the motor. Without this tiny tab that no magnet will ever find, the fuel line will not lock. The Rottweiler Performance Fuel Line Conversion Kit keeps the fuel line on the frame and creates a new connection at the bottom of the fuel tank with stainless steel quick release dry break connections and is much easier and more confidence inspiring when maintenance is necessary.
Optional Fuel Filter. You can opt to add on a Golan fuel filter with a 10 micron filter element to ensure that your injectors won't get clogged, leaving you stranded.
Heat and Abrasion resistant sheathing. Every conversion kit comes clad in the best high grade heat and abrasion resistant covering, ensuring that your fuel stays cool and your line stays safe.
Options below: The default kit comes with male and female stainless steel quick release dry break connections. The option to add a Golan fuel filter can be added and a high quality and completely serviceable fuel filter will come pre-installed into the fuel line and is highly recommended for fuel injected motorcycles. Both kits come with the heat and abrasion resistant sheathing.
