We Conquered Colorado's Most Dangerous Mountains

Day two of our big adventure took us to beautiful Buena Vista, Colorado, where we conquered Colorado's Most Dangerous Mountains. We rented side-by-sides and hit the trails for some serious high-altitude fun.

We climbed all the way up to 14,000 feet, carving our way through rugged mountain terrain and even finding ourselves playing in patches of snow at the very top. There’s something magical about being surrounded by that much open sky, with nothing but mountain peaks and fresh air all around you.

One of the highlights was stopping at the Alpine Tunnel, a cool spot packed with history and incredible views. It was the perfect place to take a break and enjoy our packed lunch while soaking in the scenery.

But what goes up must come down… and the ride back down the mountain was just as exciting as the climb. Between the switchbacks, the views, and the thrill of the ride, it kept us smiling the whole way.

So far, this has been my favorite part of our trip. There’s just nothing like the mix of adrenaline, adventure, and jaw-dropping Colorado views.
