Whirlpool Zen Washing Machine Test Mode & Service to run Diagnostic Procedure

The test sequence runs through all the main wash features, testing components like the water valves, pressure switches that operate the fill cycle, the heating system (including the NTC sensor and heating element controlled by the program board (PCB) via relays), and of course, the motor and pumps to ensure the drum turns and water empties.

This video will guide you through entering test mode, which can be tricky at times, and explain all six individual tests it runs. This Test is suitable for models like these Whirlpool models FSCR 10431, FSCR 12430, FSCR 12442, FSCR10432, FSCR10432 S, FSCR12430, FSCR70411, FSCR80416, FSCR80421 and some Bauknecht models WA Prime 1054, WA Prime 1054 Z,

C00: This test checks the main program function and door lock, then searches for related error codes (F02, F05, F07, F08, F13, F20, F21, F24, F26, F27, F29, F36, F60).

C01: This test checks the motor's rotation (clockwise and anticlockwise), water valves, and pressure switch system. It then searches for related error codes (F01, F36, F06, F07, F10).

C02: This test checks the heating system's function. It activates the heating element for approximately 10 seconds and shows the temperature reading from the NTC sensor. It then searches for related error codes (F06, F07, F27).

C03: This test checks the recirculation water pump, then switches to the main pump that empties the water. It then searches for related error codes (F0 3, F06, F07, F15, F26, F27).

C04: This is a long test that checks the drum for imbalance, displaying the detected imbalance on the display in kilograms and grams. It then tests the motor function up to the maximum RPM the machine was designed for. It then searches for related error codes (F06, F07, F28, F34).

C05: This test simply shuts down the power supply to the motor, allowing it to brake to a stop. Once the drum has stopped, it allows the door to open and turns off all power to the CPU It then searches for related error codes (F13, F29 FdL).🔧
