Dr. Panayotis “Paddy” League is Assistant Professor of Musicology at Florida State University and Director of the Center for Music of the Americas. He specializes in the traditional music of the Greek islands, northeastern Brazil, Ireland, and their respective diasporas. His daughter Jasmine and Violet are great singers in all those languages.
