The Blackening Kit by Frost is a Simple, Quick and Cost Effective Way to Blacken and Protect Your Ordinary Metal*
No heating or quenching is necessary! Just dip your iron or steel parts in the 3 solutions at room temperature and you will produce an amazing black satin finish in minutes.
Perfect for steel and iron.
The finish is corrosion resistant satin black that looks great and protects your piece.
The kit contains:
– 1 litre of Mild Alkaline Cleaner
– 1 litre of Blacking Solution
– 1 litre of Dewatering Oil.
– 3 x 2.4 ltr plastic tubs
Separate blacking solutions are also available.
*Please note this kit is NOT suitable for:
Aluminium & Aluminium Alloys
Copper
Brass
Lead
Zinc
