Odisha CM Reviews Law & Order / Temple Projects / Cuttack Bali Yatra Declared 'No Drone Zone'
The Cuttack district administration has declared the Bali Yatra ground a ‘No Drone Zone’ from November 1 to 15 to ensure smooth conduct of the grand annual trade fair. The move aims to enhance public safety and prevent any aerial security breaches during the event, which attracts lakhs of visitors every year.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi also visited Sambalpur to review the ongoing development work at the historic Maa Samaleswari Temple. The project, spread across 82 acres and costing Rs 316 crore, is being executed in two phases to promote tourism and preserve the cultural heritage of western Odisha.
In another review meeting, CM Majhi assessed the state’s law and order situation following recent violent incidents in Cuttack and Berhampur. He directed the police officials to remain on high alert, ensure public peace, and take strong measures to prevent further disturbances across the state.
