The Mouse on the Bridge with Tracey Dutton

Those mischievous little mice always seem to turn up in the most unlikely spots! This time, the charming Basil is carefully crossing the Druid’s Pass Bridge, his lantern glowing softly as he moves through the last light of the evening.

To create this atmospheric woodland scene, Tracey combines Dragon’s Thorn and Thimbleweed stamps, allowing them to tumble down either side of the bridge to suggest a winding stream beneath a thick forest canopy. Additional smaller foliage stamps are layered in to give the impression that nature is slowly taking over the bridge itself.

A beautifully blended Elements Ink background sets the mood, while Kuretake Clean Colour and Posca Pens are used to pick out and enhance the finer details. As a final magical touch, a subtle hint of Gold Stickles Glitter Glue adds a gentle shimmer, bringing the scene to life.
