Elders from 11 clans of the Somali Community have settled on youthful Sumeya Bishar Muse to challenge incumbent Rehema Jaldesa and former Education Chief Administrative Secretary Mumina Bonaya for the Woman Representative seat in Isiolo. The elders led by the Chairman of the Isiolo Somali Council of elders’ Abdulkadir Shariff Abdullahi argued that Sumeya has already shown good leadership qualities while serving as an MCA.
