SHKCS How to Prepare & Tag Items to Sell at Consignment: Linens

This is video #6 in the "How to Prepare & Tag Items to Sell" in our consignment sale series. In this video, we talk about how to prepare & tag medium and large size linens. Medium and large size linens will be hung on a rack at the consignment sale. Please hang these items on clothing hangers to prepare them for the sale. See links below for recommended items.

Super Hearts Kids Consignment Sale runs twice per year in Wilmington, NC. We provide a spring/summer sale in early March and a fall/winter sale in late September. Our family is proud to own and run this sale. We absolutely love what we do and all the people we meet in the process. If you have ever considered selling your kids items at a pop-up consignment sale, this video series of preparing and tagging your items to sell will be extremely helpful.

At Super Hearts, consignors always earn a base percentage of 70%, with the ability to earn up to 80% of sales by volunteering to work a shift or two.

*The way Super Hearts prefers items to be tagged for their consignment sale does not mean it is correct for every consignment sale. Most of the techniques used would be appropriate for other sales but you should always check with the sale you are consigning with to ensure you are following the specified rules.

*Tagging guns may be used but you should ensure that you are ONLY tagging through the seam of the garment, NOT through the thin portion of the cloth. Tagging guns will leave holes in clothing if not used correctly.

We strongly recommend trying to find as many clothing hangers for free as you can. The wire hangers link is only if you need to purchase hangers because you couldn’t find any. The best place to look for hangers is by asking neighbors, family and friends for hangers they no longer need. You can also post on your local Buy Nothing FB group and you can post in other FB groups that you are looking for hangers. Many times, people are willing to give them away because they have too many.
