What is it?
Think in Arabic © is a creative and innovative method, yet very simple to apply to teach Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers developed by Mostafa Elabbady. The method uses multi-Platform, Multi-Sensory and Color coded resources, which helps students to be able to read Arabic language by using synthetic phonics “blending” and the GPC “Grapheme and Phoneme Correspondence” . We also develop vocabulary focusing on high frequency words. Other language skills are developed in parallel to teaching the basics. The method applies memory techniques to help students to retain and recall information.
How does the method work in schools?
First we do assessment tests, to know student’s skills and levels in Arabic language and where are they in regards to KHDA Arabic language framework, and then we apply the method for one year.
