Today's video offers a captivating glimpse into the picturesque Polish countryside of 1936-1937, showcasing the way of life in central Poland nearly 90 years ago.
We witness women dressed in traditional Polish folk costumes, preparing for the Easter holiday—a celebration rich in tradition and festivity. Scenes of daily life unfold before us, where people ride bicycles, stroll through villages, and work in the fields, painting a vivid portrait of the era.
A newly constructed schoolhouse and its lively schoolyard provide insight into how children once learned grammar and mathematics. After lessons, pupils dressed in traditional costumes play games in the schoolyard and fill it with joy.
