An amazingly beautiful and dreamt little town Hallstatt, less than an hour from Salzburg.
No surpise this was rated one of the most ‘instagramable’ towns.
Strongly recommend to book at least a night or two here rather than have a day visit from Salzburg. Why? - as so many tourists flock here during the day and it is only before 9am or after 5pm that the town becomes empty and you really feel that magical aura that surrounds this town
