THE GATHERING AT THE ROC Car Show 2025 - The Largest Unknown Hot Rod and Custom Car Show

The Gathering At The Roc takes at Woolaroc, a beautiful wildlife preserve outside of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. This amazing car show is called, "traditional hot rod show for the discerning man".

Launched in 2020 – at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic – the Gathering at the Roc quickly set itself apart from scores of other car shows and hot rod events. Organizers Jason Smith of the Hot Rod Garage and his good friend Brandon McCullough wanted to create a hot rod and custom get-together for like-minded enthusiasts, one geared toward traditionally styled and influenced cars and trucks.

Woolaroc, the 3,700-acre ranch and wildlife preserve founded by oilman Frank Phillips of Phillips 66. There, the hot rods and customs mingled amongst exotic wildlife and were shown off in the sunny grounds surrounding a museum of Western art, Native American artifacts, and Colt firearms.

One of the highlights of this year's show was the "Silver Sapphire". The car just completed a seven year restoration and The Roc was it's debut.
A 1932 Ford Coupe owned by Clarence "Chilli" Catallo of Dearborn, Michigan. In 1959 Clarence brought the "Silver Sapphire" to the Alexander Bros. After a successful drag-race career, the body of the 1932 Ford Coupe had been sectioned and channeled. Mike and Larry formed the unique grille, before George Barris performed the three-inch chop, and paint. The "Silver Sapphire" is most famous for posing on the cover of the Beach Boys record "Little Deuce Coupe".

This year’s Gathering included an incredible array of rods and customs from across the country, many noted builders and shops, plus some great historic vehicles.
