NEW BERSERK OBITO BEATS ALL IN HIS SIGHT ONLINE!! - Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections

Berserk Obito was without a doubt one of the characters I looked forward to playing back in Storm 4. His menacing aura and overall badass scene in the Anime made me want to play him immediately and I’m glad he didn’t disappoint. In Storm Connections he has received some quality of life changes that makes him an even better character this time around. His combo routes, damage and speed really allows him to overwhelm his opponent and causes them to be at his mercy!

Berserk Obito has two primary jutsus in his arsenal. His first jutsu lets him perform a kamui dash that makes him invulnerable for all incoming attacks while he is in this rush attack. This is a unique move because it gives you two different ways on how to use it. The first one lets you perform your dash until it has reached its limits. The second way lets you perform the dash and if you press the action button again it causes Obito to take a forward leap and hit your opponent. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a bounced state. You can confirm your assists after this move or simply dash right behind them. This move gives the player the option to create a lot of setplay, while also confusing their opponent.

There is one major setback to this move though and it is the recovery time. Once you hit your opponents guard you will not be able to attack for 2-3 seconds. This leaves you wide open for a counterattack, which will leave you at a disadvantage. Definitely only use this move when you are absolutely sure you are going to get a hit on your opponent.

His second jutsu lets you throw out a wooden spear at your opponent. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a grounded state. If you have an OTG assist (assists that are able to hit your opponent in a grounded state) you are able to continue a combo after this move. This gives you some combo flexibility and really makes you think about the team synergy you want to have with Obito. Unfortunately you are not able to cancel this move which causes you to be wide open if you whiff this attack.

His awakening is where he becomes a different beast. His whole moveset changes completely and causes him to do so much (guard) damage! His first jutsu is also a kamui dash, but during this your attacks are on both versions of his rush phase. His second jutsu is the best part of his awakening in my opinion. It lets Obito bring up massive trees that cause immense damage on your opponent. If they decide to block this their guard will instantly BREAK! If this was part of his main moveset… everyone would be using him.

Overall, Berserk Obito is a pretty solid character and definitely deserves a chance on anyones team. Check him out whenever you can!
