"Can I go back to my regular job?" Watch what happens when the sports guy reports on the weather

Watch this amusing moment when a sports presenter is asked to report on blustery weather conditions in US which could see temperatures dip to -25 degrees celsius.

Mark Woodley, who presents a half hour sports show on KWWL, was asked to step in after all sporting events were cancelled.

Temperatures may drop as low as -45C in parts of North America this week, which is cold enough for experts to warn exposure could lead to frostbite developing in five to ten minutes.

An Arctic winter storm is currently striking the US and Canada with thousands of flights cancelled while 135 million have been affected by a weather warning - which reaches down as far as Mexico.

North Americans are braced for their coldest Christmas in decades.

The National Weather Service has said temperatures could be cold enough to cause frostbite.
