Hello folks! I've got a different type of video for you all! Today's video is a Snare drum mic shootout! We are comparing the Stagg SDM70 and the Shure Sm57.
They're both dynamic microphones, and the Stagg is a SM57 clone so I thought it would be cool to compare the two!
I tried to make this mic shootout as transparent as possible with no EQ, compression or anything like that!
I was surprised by the results and maybe you will be too! The stagg is a great dynamic microphone for the studio or gigging and will give you decent results! The Shure sm57 is just that little bit more robust, but for the price of the stagg, you can't complain!
