The '80s are making a comeback, and I've just driven two of the biggest rallying icons from the decade in anger!
I was lucky enough to recently get behind the wheel of both a Lancia 037 Stradale and an Audi Ur-Quattro during an extremely special track day.
Front-engined vs mid-engined. 4WD vs RWD. Turbocharged vs supercharged. These are clearly two very different beasts, but both equally as special, exciting and downright gorgeous in their own right.
It was incredible to re-live the iconic battle that took place between these marques around 40 years ago, with every lap taking me back to those unmatched analogue days of motorsport.
