Welcome to Hegde's Gardening You Tube channel ❤️
We are showing Hibiscus cross pollination in this video.
Hybrid Hibiscus pollination involves manually transferring pollen from one Hibiscus variety to another to create new, unique flower varieties.
This process can help breed Hibiscus plants with desirable traits like vibrant colors, larger blooms, or improved hardiness.
The video shows the pollination process between hybrid Hibiscus flowers using a small brush. This technique allows for controlled breeding of Hibiscus plants to achieve specific characteristics in the resulting hybrids.
We also note the information by pasting a number sticker to the stem of the flower as shown in the video to remember the Father and Mother of the newly produced seeds. This helps us to track the progress and check the results.
This is a very easy process. But we really need to wait for the final results for more than a year.
It will take 30-40 days to produce seed pods and then almost a year or 2 to grow a new sapling and check the flowers.
However, patience pays off!
Thank you for watching the video. Please subscribe to our channel ❤️
Happy Gardenning 🌸
